Limited time modes and tons of cosmetics all tailored to this theme are on the agenda. There will be two limited time events: namely Winter Wonderland in between December 13 and January 4, 2023and the year of the rabbit January 17th to February 6th. Finally, the Battle for Olympus mode takes place between the January 5th and 19th.
Th is new season of Overwatch 2 brings balance changes to bring some heroes to a similar level as other characters.
Measurements and player feedback show that Sojourn is currently dominating the higher tiers of the competition and is too challenging for characters that don’t have the same perks. To address this, we’re focusing on his railgun damage and encouraging players to take advantage of Sojourn’s high mobility to close down the range for more devastating secondary shots.
Doomfist is undergoing some significant changes that will help him better staff the front lines for his team while maintaining the playstyle that defines this hero’s identity. Also expect some tweaks for Ana, Bastion, Junker Queen, Kiriko, Ange, and Symmetra when the update goes live on December 6th.
That season 2 will start Next December 6th.
