Dragon Ball FighterZ is being updated on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC to improve gameplay on these platforms with significant fixes.
Dragon Ball FighterZ received a second version with a free upgrade that notably allowed the implementation of a netcode rollback. A technique to reduce latency as much as possible in online battles, thus optimizing the experience to avoid putting a strain on your connection in case of defeat. In fact, you can do it anyway, since it does not eliminate the problems 100% in this configuration. The rollout caused some problems, but Bandai Namco has just fixed one.
A new update for Dragon Ball FighterZ
Dragon Ball FighterZ is available on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC. In addition to the netcode rollback, the current-gen version allows visual and performance improvements for an already great title. However, as usual, this version, playable since February 2024, was plagued with some issues. For example, on PS5 it was not possible to use all the PS4 arcade sticks of your choice. But that’s usually history with the new Dragon Ball FighterZ update. This type of device should work as expected and a netcode rollback bug has also been fixed. Below you can find all the patch notes in French.
