Star Wars fans with PlayStation VR will be able to enjoy a title that was originally released for Oculus Quest and Oculus Rift S, Vader Immortal: A Star Wars VR Series. ILMxLAB executive producer Mark S. Miller has announced in the PlayStation blog that the game will be released for PS VR in late summer. It is worth mentioning that it is a title that has several episodes. Right now there are three for sale for Oculus. Each episode is priced at € 7.99.
In episode 1 of Vader Immortal: A Star Wars VR Series you have to descend to the fortress of Darth Vader and face legions of stormtroopers. There was also an epic battle against the Sith Lord. In this first person action game you can demonstrate your ability to handle the lightsaber. This can be quite challenging.
Vader Immortal: A Star Wars VR received the award for best virtual reality game at the GDC Awards 2020. Regarding the criticism received, on the Oculus website 75% of the opinions have 5 stars. We will see if this is repeated once it comes out for PS VR. Hopefully the port is worth it.
