After the monumental box office hit for the film Sonic 2, the blue hedgehog cooled down its fans during Summer Game Fest 2022. The first gameplay videos are far from famous, so fans of the mascot are calling for a postponement of Sonic Frontiers. Never mind, Netflix Geeked Week will put some balm on your heart with Sonic Prime.
A teaser for Sonic Prime
Netflix’s Sonic continues to show up with a very small sequence. No trailer or exact release date yet, the adaptation is still planned for later this year. The series was also launched with some promising visuals, and the very short sequence heralds a visual aspect that’s still as alluring as ever that must make Sonic Frontiers pale. Here Netflix mainly wanted to confirm the presence of two characters.
No surprise, however, the result stays close to other series in the genre and seems to bode well for Sonic Prime. We’ll have to wait for more details, though, as the hedgehog only has a super flash passage during Netflix Geeked. Remember that Shadow will be present in the series and that it will be Deven Mack who will be lending his voice to Sonic.
