Unless it involves The Sims 5, a leak in all shape or form is going to suck. That said, someone leaked a trailer for The Dark Pictures Anthology’s next installment, Order 8020, ahead of The Devil Inside Me opening tomorrow (November 18).

Here’s the trailer for Order 8020, but if you don’t want spoilers, be sure to mute it before playing The Devil Within.

For context, The Devil in Me marks the end of the anthology’s first season, and in typical Supermassive Games style, there’s a hint or two of what’s next for the series. The trailer for Instruction 8020, which has been leaked to YouTube, appears to be taken from the game’s ending.

Considering this is not a complete shock to many A series of trademark applications discovered by Andrew Marmo The names of all the upcoming installments appeared to be revealed earlier this year. That said, prior to this leak, no one knew what Instruction 8020 was, unless you were one of the few people who had a pre-sale copy of the game.

While you can currently watch the teaser trailer for Order 8020 in the clip embedded above, if you plan to play The Devil Within Me tomorrow, I suggest you wait a bit. It’s exhilarating to experience a reveal as expected, which is why Supermassive works so hard to keep it under wraps.

If you want to avoid spoilersI’m not entirely sure why you’re reading this, but I’m going to dig into what the trailer covers; if you don’t want to hear it, close this tab now!

In short, The Dark Pictures Anthology is moving away from the desolate, earthly places of interest and taking us to a relatively unfamiliar but equally comfortable place; space. The trailer begins with someone speaking over the radio in interstellar space, and we witness a stray helmet and drops of blood floating in zero gravity.

Wherever we go, it looks like it’s going to be just another game on a damaged ship in space where something went terribly, horribly wrong.

What do you think of another sci-fi horror movie coming in 2023? I’m not sure, but as always, I’m excited to see what The Dark Pictures Anthology does next. In the meantime, let’s not forget The Devil Inside Me is out tomorrow. Keep an eye out for our review, or check out our interview with game director Tom Heaton in the meantime!
