The first official Chainsaw Man anime trailer has just been released. No censorship, it will be just as gory and violent as the original work.
After Demon Slayer and Jujutsu Kaisen, Chainsaw Man is Weekly Shōnen Jump’s new flagship manga. It was only a matter of time before it was adapted into anime again. MAPPA Studios and Crunchyroll just unveiled the first trailer, and it looks as gory as it is epic!
An explosive trailer of the Chainsaw Man anime
It’s one of the current phenomena: Chainsaw Man. Tatsuki Fujimoto’s work, which ranked among the top 10 best-selling manga in Japan last year with around 15 million copies sold, will imitate many classics through the adaptation box. The MAPPA anime will be released on Crunchyroll in October. And that’s good, the new paradise of Japanese animation has held a conference to unveil a trailer for the first season of Chainsaw Man. The producers hadn’t lied, obviously there won’t be much censorship. It will be as gory, brutal and bloody as the manga! Keep in mind that all action scenes are punctuated by compositions by Kensuke Ushio (Devilman CryBaby, A Silent Voice).
For those who missed the manga, Chainsaw Man tells the story of humans fighting demons. Rejected by society, Denji merges with Pochita, a cute-looking but terribly terrifying chainsaw demon. The duo of demon hunters will then face off against the worst demons within an official organization that hides a few secrets.
