Didn’t know what to do with your vacation or this weekend? A new game from a cult license can be tested for free and without conditions on Steam, but also on consoles.
We know the song by heart by now. Starting this Friday, some publishers are offering their games for free on Steam for a weekend. However, it happens that certain titles deserve more time to discover and the offer extends over a whole week. Such is the case with this new title that you can discover without spending a single cent and, given the enormous size of its open world, 7 days will not be too long.
A new free game on Steam for a limited time, check it out!
It’s the big day. Fallout Day takes place tonight, Wednesday, October 23rd at 11:00 PM PST. During the broadcast, Bethesda will make some announcements regarding the license. The American company could say a few words about the second season of the Prime Video series, which is scheduled to begin filming next year. On the other hand, the MMO will be the main focus. To mark this occasion, Fallout 76 is once again available for free. Therefore, a new test phase was started on the PC via Steam. As always, players can test the entire base game and its updates without concessions. Of course, progress is retained if the game is purchased. To encourage those in conquered territories to keep going, Fallout 76 and its expansions are currently available at all mainstream stores with discounts of up to -75%.
As a reminder, this game, which is currently available for free on Steam, stands out from other Fallout games thanks to its multiplayer component. The title then invites you to leave the comfort of your Vault 76 to rebuild the Appalachians alongside other players. We then find more or less the gameplay of the last episode, but with all the mechanics we expect from a multiplayer game of this caliber. Building bases, raids against sneaky bosses, and other in-game events will be part of the daily life of explorers of the wasteland.
Even though this free Steam game received very mixed reactions when it was released in 2018, the teams have since worked to redesign the game with many changes and additions, and the result has ultimately paid off. You can discover the self-created work for free on Steam, but also on PS5 and Xbox Series until October 29th. If you prefer Valve’s platform, just go to the games page and download it. For the console versions, all you need to do is download the trial version, which also gives you access to the full base game.
