As surprising as it may seem despite its age, Skyrim has just received a brand new update for 2024. Who would have thought?
Bethesda, the developer of the popular role-playing game The Elder Scrolls 5 Skyrim, has released a new update focused on fixing bugs and improving the game across all platforms. This update aims to fix various issues ranging from display errors in menus to bugs related to Skyrim mods. It’s pretty amazing that Bethesda continues to support its game even after so many years.
Skyrim: 13 years later it still stands
Skyrim, originally released in 2011 on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360, was a huge success, followed by Special Edition released in 2016 on PC, PS4 and Xbox One and later ported to Nintendo Switch, PS5 and Xbox Series. Bethesda has continued to support this edition with regular updates, including significant content additions.
The latest update for Skyrim – Special Edition brings several platform-specific improvements. An issue with displaying Creation Credits in the Epic Games Store has been resolved. PlayStation players should no longer experience crash issues related to the creation screen, while Xbox players will no longer be redirected to the main menu when downloading Survival Mode or Goldbrand. But that’s not all…
