A viral Black Myth Wukong movie is driving Naruto fans crazy as it was created by the artist behind the animation of the highly popular manga.
Cheng Xi Huang, a famous Chinese artist who notably contributed to the animation of Naruto, has been commissioned by Game Science to direct a film adaptation of Black Myth Wukong. At the end of each chapter, the title offers us a conclusion in the form of animated short films of very different styles. The one that interests us has gone absolutely viral. When Naruto meets Black Myth Wukong, a crazy cutscene occurs
On a commercial level, Black Myth Wukong is already presenting itself as one of the biggest video game hits of the year. In addition to gamers (mainly the Chinese public), the title Game Science has also aroused the curiosity of anime fans. This is especially true for a cutscene at the end of the game’s chapter, directed by none other than Cheng Xi Huang, a renowned Chinese artist who worked on the animation of Naruto, but also on the last season of Attack on Titan, the Netflix series Castlevania or even My Hero Academia.
A definitely influential artist, Game Science commissioned him to bring his expertise to a cutscene at the end of the chapter of Black Myth Wukong. And the result, like the game developed on Unreal Engine 5, is breathtaking for animation fans. We see Sun Wukong and the Bull King in a truly gigantic battle. In many ways, Black Myth Wukong has all the odds in its favor to deserve the tremendous success it’s experienced, but it’s missing one key element: an Xbox Series version, which is desperately wanted due to a major memory leak issue that Game Science says it’s actively investigating.
