with any from software Launching – really any game that is sufficiently challenging – some intrepid folks are always trying to make things more difficult by imposing ridiculous rules or restrictions on their setup. Eldon Ring No exception, the latest form of the trend is a bit unusual.
YouTuber Iron Pineapple recently proved that you can beat Elden Ring without dealing a single point of damage, and even managed to beat the game before that.
Their most recent adventure has actually been the toughest, even though it might not seem that way at first glance. The challenge this time is whether they can beat Elden Ring by exceeding the maximum equipment load. No, it doesn’t just mean you’re gaining weight, or that you’re overburdened.
Their characters are in a state that no Elden Ring player wants to be in. Iron Pineapple deliberately pushed their device load above the absolute maximum (158.1). This overloaded state disables scrolling, jumping, and running. Being in this state also negatively affects your stamina regeneration, making it harder to keep attacking.
To make the race harder, the YouTuber decided not to use horses throughout the game – which means they will walk slowly
As you’ll see, their journey has brought some unexpected surprises. For example, several parts of the Elden Ring world were designed with jumping or riding in mind. If you remove these two mechanisms, chest-height walls suddenly become insurmountable. But with some creative thinking, Iron Pineapple uses some game tools in…unexpected ways…to jump over those hurdles.
For fans of creative problem solving, this video is well worth watching, especially when it comes to in-depth runs.
