Satisfactory is now moving full steam ahead to Update 1.0.
Since the early access release in March 2019, the developers at Satisfactory have installed a total of 8 major updates for the factory building game. But that should be over for now. The reason for this, however, is not that the title is being given up, but rather that a major update is planned next that will herald the transition from early access to the full release.
What’s next?
Like the developers in one Announcement video explain, the studio is now focusing all its efforts on the upcoming release of the full version of Satisfactory. However, that also means that Until then, no more major patches for the game will appear. Some problems and errors from Update 8 will therefore remain until the release of version 1.0.
When will the big update come out? The developers do not yet want to give a more precise release period than 2024. It is also still unknown when we will find out more about the release date.

What’s in the update? In addition to new content and many bug fixes, there will be a story for Satisfactory, and a way to finish the game
. The developers are not revealing any more details yet. In the near future, however, a whole series of videos will provide information about Update 1.0.
Is there a beta version before release? Yes, there will be a closed beta, which you can register for now on the official website can register. However, the number of participants is limited, so it cannot be guaranteed that you will also get access.
What happens after version 1.0 is released? The development of Satisfactory has not yet been completed with the major update. There will continue to be new content in the future, but it has not yet been decided whether this will be published in the form of free updates or expansions.
By the way, Satisfactory continues to inspire many players on Steam. Not only are the reviews an incredible 97 percent positive, years after the early access release, around 10,000 players are still busy building factories every day. A release of the full version would probably bring many fans back.
