If you keep playing Halo infinite In the past few weeks of multiplayer games since its launch, you may have realized that the community is paying more and more attention Cheating In the free FPS of 343 Industries.
After a lot of discussions about its impact on the experience, we learned from several members of the development team what players can do now to solve this problem, and plans to further solve this problem in the future.
The first public statement came from the Halo community manager John Junyszek on Twitter. He publicly discussed the team’s handling of this issue through frank words.
“Unfortunately, cheating is a natural part of supporting F2P PC games, and this is what we expected. It will never completely disappear, but we are ready and committed to continuous improvement of our game system, and The actors take action.”
Let’s talk about cheating!
Unfortunately, cheating is a natural part of supporting F2P PC games, and this is what we expected. It will never completely disappear, but we are ready and committed to continuous improvement of our game system and take action against bad actors.-John Junyszek (@Unyshek) November 30, 2021
He will elaborate, “Jump in to clarify that the wording of’improving the game system’ includes not only our anti-cheating, but also the rest of the game. The reason for this is that we do not adopt a “single function” approach, but Adopt a full-game anti-cheating method.”
Although this is John doing his job to let the community know that 343 is aware of the complaints and concerns about the cheaters in Halo Infinite, it does unveil the curtain on future developments we can expect to see. The clarification that they “do not take a’single function’ approach shows that the team is willing to solve this problem from multiple angles, rather than betting on a big feature like Call of Duty’s new kernel-level anti-cheating.
As a final addition, John pointed out the official player reporting system currently available to people who are victims of cheating in Halo Infinite. 343 Industries creative director Joseph Staten (Joseph Staten) agreed, and he urged players to temporarily use this feature to combat cheating through Twitter. For now, this is the only current tool players use to defend against cheaters.
We have more anti-cheating measures in preparation. In the meantime, please use this link to report bad actors. Banhammer is free and ready to take action. https://t.co/FUmZznhXWH

After the great success of the Halo Infinite multiplayer game release, 343 Industries ushered in a turbulent period. On the one hand, they have been constantly improving the process of the battle pass, and recently have drastically reduced the number of games you need to upgrade. On the other hand, they seem to be unable to rest, because the events of February 2022 may have leaked too early.
