Ace Attorney Investigation Series Announced during the June 2024 Nintendo Direct, several Ace Attorney spin-off games will be coming to Switch on September 6, including one that has never been released outside of Japan before.

In case you’re wondering, those two games are Ace Attorney: Edgeworth and Ace Attorney: Edgeworth. While the gameplay looks to be the usual AA genre – investigate crimes, interview witnesses, use your legal brain, the collection will offer some visual changes by being able to switch between new hand-drawn HD character art from the original series’ character designers and the classic pixel art the games originally used to render their sprites.

Yes, high quality Miles Edgeworth artwork, or weird polygonal Miles Edgeworth, the choice is yours. You’ll also have the chance to collect some game art and music to browse through the menus, giving you a chance to appreciate how these games were put together. Or maybe you just really like orchestral music. We won’t judge.

Hopefully, billing it as a collection this time around won’t make people feel like Capcom is forging unnatural connections between games that don’t share a common continuous narrative, as happened with Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy – you should read our review – in the minds of some fans.

But anyway, it’s more like Ace Lawyer, if you’re going to catch it, or if you have an issue with it, let us know below.
