Please don’t be alarmed and start looking for gray hairs, but GTA 5 is already here over eleven years old! The fact that our stay in Los Santos doesn’t feel that long is mainly due to GTA Online, which received numerous add-ons over time and therefore constantly offered new content.
However, GTA 5’s story mode never continued, although there were certainly some plans for it. Now the actors of Trevor, Franklin and Michael are talking about it and we learn some details from a DLC that should have revolved around Trevor.
My name is Philips – Trevor Philips!
That of all people, the completely crazy one Trevor Philips as Agent 007 We cannot imagine that she would have been on Her Majesty’s Secret Service. Nevertheless, the psychopath played by actor Steven Ogg apparently actually started a career as an agent.
Steven Ogg recently revealed this in a Livestreamin which he talks about canceled single-player content with his fellow actors Ned Luke (Michael) and Shawn Fonteno (Franklin).
You can find the passage in question at minute 26:20 in this video:

Steven Ogg says that back then Even scenes for the agent DLC have already been shot have:
We had this really cool idea that Trevor would be an undercover agent – he works for the FBI! And we have some of these things with us James Bond Trevor
turned, he’s still a loser, but he’s doing his best to act like he is [ein guter Agent].
We shot a few things and then I just disappeared and never finished it and they never followed up on it.
Story DLCs also planned for Michael and Franklin?
Ned Luke backs up his colleague’s recollections by saying that, in his opinion, it was Rockstar’s original plan to to continue the stories of the three characters in one DLC each.
This information is not new, a leak appeared at the end of 2023 that revealed several never-released single-player DLCs for GTA 5 (via My city). Among other things, Michael’s DLC was supposed to be about aliens, while Franklin would have had to do with zombies in some way.

GTA 6 has to do THAT better!
Instead, Rockstar finally decided to do it but decided to give higher priority to the financially very profitable GTA Online. Therefore, many of the ideas for the single player DLCs found their way to GTA Online as part of several addons.
It is now considered impossible that we will hear anything from Trevor, Michael and Franklin again. Not least because, as we all know, GTA 6 is just around the corner. All right, in front of the door
That’s perhaps a bit optimistic given that it won’t be released until 2025 at the earliest – but hey, if you’ve been waiting for a successor for eleven years, one year is probably a piece of cake.
Things are turbulent behind the scenes at Take-Two Interactive, the publisher behind the GTA series. Several hundred people will soon be laid off and several game projects will be discontinued as a result. It is not known whether Rockstar will also be affected by the job cuts.
