It seems there’s still enthusiasm for Hellraiser 2. This isn’t news to anyone who’s been following the recent trajectory of the game and the various debates between the developer and player communities, but you might be surprised to learn that a survey about the game received “over 5,000 responses” in less than an hour during normal UK/EU working hours on Monday.
The announcement comes shortly after Arrowhead shared progress on its 60-day game improvement plan, and the studio used the opportunity last week to confirm an official release date for its next major patch.

Earlier today, September 9, Arrowhead posted a survey on the Helldivers 2 Discord server and subreddit. It’s not much of a survey, just a quick little questionnaire that first asks you to rate your experience with the game over the past week on a scale of 1 to 5, and then write down what you like and don’t like so far. Simple.
“Some info: This survey is conducted by the PlayStation Research team,” wrote Arrowhead community manager Baskinator. “When the survey gathers enough responses, we will remove the link. We hope to run surveys like this more frequently in the future.”
Well, if you go to Discord you’ll see that the link is long gone, with Baskinator writing that the survey had collected “over 5,000 responses” in response to one player’s suspicion that the survey was closed so quickly, adding in another post: “The survey was active for nearly an hour before filling up. They collect responses in batches.”
So yes, a lot of people are still enthusiastic and ready to give feedback on Hellraiser 2 at such a rapid pace that you can understand why MOs involving killing often only last a fraction of the time originally planned.
Some of them criticized the first question of the survey, the one with the scale, arguing that it should be better worded because its five options – excellent, very good, good, fair and poor – do tend to be a bit biased towards the positive. That being said, the second part obviously gives you the opportunity to be as detailed as possible about anything you don’t like.
If you missed the survey, don’t worry, as the community manager explained: “There’s more than one way to collect feedback. We get thousands of written responses through the Dyno form, we have these surveys, we have everything you say in these channels and reddit posts. This is not just a one-time event.”
