Gaming News After Cyberpunk 2077 and The Witcher, CD Projekt presents a brand new license with Hadar
When CD Projekt talks, it doesn’t do things by halves. Today it is not far from seven new projects presented by the Polish publishing house, including a certain Hadar.
Another project by CD Projekt
Through a gigantic thread on Twitter, CD Projekt has taken the floor to reveal all of its future projects and we can say that there are many of them. After mentioning Orion, the sequel to Cyberpunk 2077, just that, and after mentioning the presence of five productions that take place in the universe of The Witcher, namely the “Polaris” trilogy, but also “Sirius” and “Canis Majoris ‘, here’s the editors revealing an additional surprise.
This new surprise titled Hadar and still very mysterious, is neither a game set in the universe of Cyberpunk 2077 nor a production that invades the world of our favorite witcher, but good a whole new license.
Hadar is a codename for a third entirely separate intellectual property built from the ground up within CDPR. The project is in the earliest stages of the creative process, which means we’re not developing a game yet, just working on the foundation for this new setting. pic.twitter.com/1LdoXSTniv

Hadar is the codename for a third entirely separate IP built from the ground up within CD Projekt Red. The project is in the early stages of the build process, which means we’re not developing this game yet, just working on the basics of this new framework.
A license out of nothing
Contrary to what we’re used to from CD Projekt, this Hadar isn’t an adaptation of a pre-existing universe in books like The Witcher or in a board game like Cyberpunk 2077, but rather an unreleased license.
Unfortunately, CD Projekt Red has remained very enigmatic about the latter so far, other than that it’s all still in its infancy. To be honest, the title hasn’t even started development yet. It will therefore be necessary to be patient to learn more about this new baby created from scratch by CD Projekt Red, a first for the Polish team.
