Good news for It Takes Two fans: more and more information is emerging about the developer’s next game, although everything remains very mysterious. See instead.
Hazelight Studios, known for its successful cooperative games, has recently piqued the curiosity of gamers. Its founder, Josef Fares, shared a cryptic teaser of his upcoming game on social media. This new project, like their previous titles, will be a collaboration with EA Originals (.It takes two at the top) and already promises to be fascinating for the gaming community. We knew since April that the studio would be preparing something, that’s now a certainty.
A puzzling message for the time after “It Takes Two”.
Josef Fares posted a message on Twitter that quickly sparked a reaction. He wrote: “I get a lot of questions about our next game. Here’s a little hint. This is a new IP called S** *****N [un mot de trois lettres suivi d’un mot de sept lettres]. I look forward to showing you more soon. »
The post immediately sparked a wave of speculation among fans. There are hypotheses circulating about the name of the game, but a solution has not yet been found. To add even more mystery, Hazelight Studios has shared a cryptic image. In this photo there is a file on a desk with several clues visible. At the bottom right there is a puzzle with the words “Final_final_3” and “_Mdown_13” on a post-it note. Another clue, a sketch of a staircase named “Mio Zoe,” could well provide some insight into the game’s characters.
At the top left of the picture, another Post-it forms an acrostic with the word “Cooler” and terms such as “Co-Op”, “Ouch(?)”, “Legen-” and “Rad…”. Geometric shapes are also drawn, but their meaning remains unclear.
A game that is already expected
Fans quickly set about deciphering these clues, but for now the solutions are still elusive. As a reminder, Hazelight Studios’ previous game, It takes twowas a great success. With more than 20 million copies sold and the Game of the Year Award To Game Awards 2021the studio has established itself as a master of cooperative gaming. The partnership with EA Originals for this new project is therefore a continuation of this success.
It Takes Two won over players thanks to its innovative mechanics and the importance of cooperation between players. Therefore, it’s likely that this next title will continue to rely on that cooperative dynamic that made Hazelight famous.
