Surviving Mars – Teaser announces new content for 2021
Surviving Mars hasn’t received any great new content updates in a while. Nobody expected them anymore: After all, the successor Surviving the Aftermath is already in Early Access. But after a developer change and the latest free promotion in the Epic Games Store, new content is now available for the fight for survival on Mars.
What’s next with Surviving Mars?
Free content: The publisher announced the tourism update with a teaser. With this you will be able to build up a tourism industry on Mars and of course benefit from the visitors. However, they can be picky and rate their stay in your city. So that they don’t get bored, you can build things like hotels, Zero-G amusement parks and RC safaris.
DLC also planned: Aside from the tourism update, the “In-Dome Buildings Pack” will also be a small, chargeable expansion that will add eight new buildings to the title. The DLC should cost about 5 dollars.
When will it come out? You will be able to play the new free content and the building DLC for yourself from March 15, 2021. Because then both should appear.
Add-on should appear: In addition to these two changes, the team announced an expansion that should also come in 2021. However, the developer is still silent about their content.
Is Surviving Mars Worth It?
For the release in 2018, we subjected the game to a test and examined its strengths and weaknesses more closely. At the time, we criticized the lack of building upgrades, the plastic look and the lack of a tutorial. At the same time, the size and complexity of the game were impressive.
