Halo infinite343 Industries is already planning post-release content, and its free multiplayer game mode is seeking to support the release window of the game.
Halo Infinite got a new release window-“holiday 2021”-in yesterday’s Microsoft with Bethesda E3 2021 presentation. But today, we heard more about what we can expect when the multiplayer mode of this game launches later this year.
In the video below and an in-depth blog post about Halo Waypoint, 343 Industries explains some of the upcoming changes-the sixth main line of Halo’s iconic multiplayer game.
Quinn Delhoyo, the studio’s chief sandbox designer, said: “We feel that we have provided our fans with a good choice at the time of launch.”
“And it’s not just a set of static items-we already have something new in production, and we can’t wait to put it into use as soon as the game is launched.
“We have new maps, new modes, new ways to customize your Spartan… The release is just the beginning,” added Halo veteran and game creative director Joseph Staten. “We will be able to talk and interact more frequently, which is great. Because that is the future of Halo Infinite multiplayer games.”
Well, I hope you like games as a service. The team also discussed the battle pass, which you can use even after a season is over; you can choose the battle pass you want to pass, there is no time limit. This is very different from how other games we have seen treat the battle pass.
If you want to enter the Halo Infinite multiplayer battle as soon as possible and try this evolution, you can sign up for the Halo Insider program, which will allow you to participate in future technology previews.
Halo Infinite will launch “This Holiday” on PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S. The starter pack includes free multiplayer games, as well as game campaigns.
