Two new civilizations:

Three new campaigns:

• Edward Longshanks – Edward Longshanks was cowardly held hostage by enemy barons and has vowed to regain his rightful throne and run a divided England to give him more influence and cohesion than ever before. A brilliant commander and formidable politician, he employs methods that are as effective as they are immoral. Join him on his quest for power and fame that will take you through England, Wales, Scotland and even on a crusade! In this campaign, you play as a British.

• The Grand Dukes of the West – For decades the Dukes of Burgundy sought to dethrone an unbalanced King of France, putting all their ingenuity, military might and immense fortune at the service of a bloody battle. When the price to be paid becomes their own blood, they prefer to turn their attention further north to found their own kingdom. In this campaign, you play as a Burgundy.

• The Hauteville – Robert de Hauteville left Normandy in 1047 with a small group of bandits. It took only a century for members of his family to become dukes in Italy, princes in the Holy Land, and even kings of Sicily. Get next to these Norman adventurers and their tricultural kingdom, one of the most tolerant and progressive in Europe. In this campaign, you play as a Sicilian.
