What new features does the update bring?
The update for Age of Empires 3: Definitive Edition brings a new function for the already known historical battles. You can now play this with two people in co-op mode. That includes all 12 historical battles
Age of Empires 3 will not be expanded with new historical battles, but the developers have adapted the existing battles for the co-op mode. Among other things, the AI for fighting against two players has been adjusted, so probably strengthened.
In order to play the battles in pairs, you don’t necessarily have to own the DLCs. It is sufficient if the host has the appropriate extension, someone second this can happen even if he or she has not bought it.

After all, the Definitive Edition of Age of Empires 2 also delivered campaigns for several players last year.
