Age of Empires IV: Roadmap published: Big winter update still 2021

Age, Big, Empires, published, Roadmap, update, Winter

Relic has a lot more plans for the recently published strategy epic Age of Empires IV. A roadmap has now been published that shows what you can expect in the coming months.

The developers are still working hard on the strategy game after the release of Age of Empires IV and have now announced some innovations that you can expect in the near future.

Most recently, patch 7879 with some performance improvements and system updates was made available, and you can also expect the big winter 2021 update before the end of a year. This then brings over 100 further balancing improvements, in-game scores, bug fixes, performance improvements, changes to the user interface and optimizations of the mini-map; The latter should then be easier to read, for example. In short: Relic gives the game a real fine-tuning, detached from new content.

A larger update is also already planned for spring 2022, which, in addition to balancing and performance improvements, will also bring tools for users and patrols to create their own content. While the former will also enable user-created maps, modes and more, with the patrols a feature desired by many players comes to the strategy title. Last but not least, the ranking seasons also start with this update.

After that, however, it should by no means end, because Relic also confirms in the roadmap that there will be more updates and content in the future. Details in this regard are then likely to be expected in the coming year.

My first time with … – Age of Empires IV

Finally a series of games that Primin is really familiar with. His first time with Age of Empires IV should be very successful, right?
