The fantasy strategy game Age of Wonders 4, which was released around a year and a half ago, will continue to be provided with fresh content and is getting a second expansion pass. The first DLC is available immediately, three more packages are to follow.
Paradox Interactive today announced a second Expansion Pass for the fantasy strategy game Age of Wonders 4; This is now available for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S and brings you a total of four additional additional contents.
The first DLC is called “Herald of Glory” and is already available at the start of the new Expansion Pass. The three other expansions are scheduled to follow in the coming months. The Expansion Pass is available for 49.99 dollars, but you can also purchase the individual DLC packages individually. In “Herald of Glory” you get new items and a new social trait.
It continues on November 5th with “Ways of War”. In this DLC you should approach conflicts in new and creative ways. Features include the introduction of oath-swearing culture, the fight against treacherous new intrigue events and the use of new magic books.
The two further expansions that will appear in 2025 are “Giant Kings” and “Archon Prophecy”. In the former, you help the Old Giants regain their rightful place as rulers of the Astral Sea. Among other things, there is the new giant ruler type, new dwellings and hand-crafted map regions. The release period is the 2nd quarter of 2025.
“Archon Prophecy” completes the Expansion Pass in the third quarter of 2025 and focuses on the powers of light. These will stand by your side in a great war against the corruption of Urrath.
