The fantasy strategy game Age of Wonders 4 is getting its next DLC today with “Ways of War” – and here we’ll tell you what’s inside.
As promised, Paradox Interactive has released “Ways of War,” the next major DLC for the fantasy strategy game Age of Wonders 4, today, November 5th. The focus is on creative new ways to resolve conflicts. But you also have to dig into your pocket, because the DLC, which is available for PC, PlayStation and Xbox, costs 14.99 dollars individually. Alternatively, you can also grab the Expansion Pass 2 for 49.99 dollars, which includes this additional content along with other packages.
The pack’s key features include the “Oathsworn Culture” based on unique warrior codes. These reward those who are strong enough to stick to their ethos. You can swear the Oath of Righteousness to focus on destroying evil, the Oath of Struggle to wage war against the strong and worthy, or the Oath of Harmony to avoid war.
You can also expect intrigue events that threaten your empire, as well as two new forms that allow you to lead the empires of simians or lumbering ogres. The DLC is rounded off with four new books, new mounts, new music and more.
The paid package is accompanied by a free update, which is one of the largest of its kind to date. This Tiger update includes major changes and additions to the game’s heroes, faction generator, city government, and more. You can see the full patch notes if you are interested read here.
