Tomorrow, Thursday, Microsoft will be broadcasting a new Xbox Partner Showcase and Remedy Entertainment will also be doing the honors. Then the latest trailer for the big Lake House expansion for Alan Wake 2 will probably be shown, which will probably also reveal the final release date for the add-on. However, that very date apparently leaked online beforehand.
Dates for the big DLC for Remedy’s atmospheric action-adventure blockbuster have now appeared on both Australian and New Zealand websites. If these prove to be correct, then the Lake House add-on will be available next week from October 22, 2024.
This is evident from entries for the Alan Wake 2 Deluxe Edition at the online retailers JB Hi-Fi and EB Games. This new physical edition will also include the Lake House DLC directly and the product description states that this expansion will not be activated until midnight on October 22nd, 2024.
The Deluxe Edition will also include the Parliament Shotgun Skin for Alan, the Nordic Shotgun Skin for Saga, the Lantern Charm for Saga, the Night Springs Expansion Pass and the Lake House Expansion Pass – alongside the Alan Wake Remastered Digital Edition, the Crimson Windbreaker and the celebrity suit.
The Lake House expansion to the game was previously announced at PlayStation State of Play in September.
