This seems to be Alan Wake Again depends on his reality changing skills as a real band “Alan Killer 2” Fictional Band performers are fictional bands that have achieved worldwide success.

Okay, let’s hang in there for a minute and I’ll give you some background information. The Asgardian Gods are a fictional band who first appeared in the first Alan Wake in 2010. You’ll also hear them in the best parts of Control and more recently Alan Wake 2. What you may not know is that there is a real, authentic Finnish band playing their piece called “Poets of the Fall”. However, under the fictional name of The Old Gods of Asgard, they recently released a “Greatist Hits” album called Reborn, which features the instant classic Dark Harbinger from the sequel, as well as the original game tracks in .

Now, As the poet of autumn himself shared, the album managed to enter the top 10 on the iTunes album chart over the weekend, no doubt thanks to their stellar performance of “Dark Herald” at the Game Awards last week. It debuted at No. 10, behind Christmas albums like Michael Buble’s Christmas and Cher’s Christmas (the real original title there), and there were several other albums that were also full of Christmas spirit, so obviously Old Gods of Asgard was a perfect fit.

The popularity did seem to be a bit short-lived as the album once again fell down the global charts, but I’m glad it was such a success.

Alan Wake 2 launched back in October to almost universally positive reviews, including from our own Kelsey, who gave the game perfect scores in his review. The new Game Plus mode is coming to all platforms today, adding a new difficulty mode as well as some new story content.
