Alan Wake and Alan Wake Collector Edition can obviously enjoy a 90% discount on all major platforms on PC, including Steam and Epic Games Store. The agreement aims to coincide with the game's 10th anniversary celebration. Although it starts tomorrow, the end date has not yet been specified, so if you want to participate for the first time or eventually upgrade to the collector ’s edition, it is best to start early.
In related news, Alan Wake's silhouette appeared on the cover of Control's second expansion, Altered World Events, in September. Considering that Remedy obtained the distribution rights of Alan Wake last summer, and even added beautiful Easter eggs to the base game of Control, this is not surprising.
Since acquiring the rights to Alan Wake, Remedy boss Sam Lake specifically pointed out that he wanted to make Alan Wake 2-but only if everything went as it was. However, Remedy's latest project Control is still a Remedy game.
Currently, remedies are working to develop multiplayer real-time service games and another yet to be announced project. As early as March, the company signed a deal with Epic Games for two games, and signed with other major developers such as Playdead and Gendesign, which was led by Fumito Ueda (Ico, Shadow of Colossus, the last guardian).
Control's latest expansion was launched on PS4 and PC in late March, and Xbox One is scheduled to be launched in June this year.
