Highlights on Disney Plus in September 2022
Thor: Love and Thunder: The fourth and most recent film about Marvel’s god of thunder actually only started in cinemas on July 8, 2022. Thor: Love and Thunder is available on Disney Plus starting September 8th, just two months after its big screen debut. So if you haven’t gone to the cinema so far, you don’t have to wait long for Thor to swing his Stormbreaker ax on your home screen.
In Love and Thunder, Thor (Chris Hemsworth) must contend with new enemies and old loves: the villain Gorr (Christian Bale) targets the gods of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, while Jane Foster (Natalie Portman) returns and even Hammer Mjölnir swings! Thor: Love and Thunder – Official trailer finally shows us the villain
Andor: The supply of new Star Wars series does not stop. Another adventure in the Star Wars universe will be released on September 21 with Andor, which is a prequel to the movie Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. As the name might suggest, this revolves around rebel fighter Cassian Andor (Diego Luna) about five years before the events of Rogue One.
There are currently no really concrete details about the plot of Andor, but the first trailers already paint a very clear picture. Accordingly, a dark Star Wars series awaits us, which takes place between Episode 3 – Revenge of the Sith and Episode 4 – A New Hope. Not only Cassian Andor rebels against the Galactic Empire, we will probably also get to know completely new facets of a suppressed galaxy.
