What new movies and series are coming to Disney Plus in October 2022? As usual, the streaming service offers a wide range of content, which, with The Walking Dead and American Horror Stories, is aimed at the horror genre in light of Halloween. But fans of Marvel and Star Wars can also expect supplies in October.

Highlights on Disney Plus in October 2022
Spider-Man – Far From Home: Spider-Man’s second standalone appearance in the Marvel Cinematic Universe makes its way onto Disney’s subscription service three years after its theatrical release. This time, Peter Parker aka Spider-Man, played again by Tom Holland, is heading to Europe. With his friends and schoolmates he goes on a class trip to Venice, Prague and other cities.
Of course, the spider hero is not spared trouble, which is why he has to slip into his costume despite the planned break. Ironically, various elemental monsters cause chaos and destruction on site. Luckily, Spidey gets help from Mysterio, played by actor Jake Gyllenhaal. Meanwhile, in our spoiler-free film review, you can find out whether we liked the film at the time.

Star Wars – Tales of the Jedi: After Andor started in September, the new Star Wars content will continue on October 26th. Then the anthology series Star Wars – Tales of the Jedi will start, which is dedicated to three well-known Jedi characters.
The first season focuses on Ahsoka Tano, Qui-Gon Jinn and Count Dooku. The respective episodes deal with different times in their lives and, in the case of Dooku, also show how he later became a villain. Qui-Gon Jinn fans can also look forward to Liam Neeson lending his voice to the character.
