On June 10th, We Are Football, a new football manager from Europey, appeared for a long time. Nobody less than the kick-off inventor Gerald Köhler is going back to his preferred profession – and that in keeping with the current European Football Championship.
In our GameStar test, the game was able to convince in many areas, but it did a major criticism prevented the manager from leaving the field as a glorious winner. There is also anger in the community – on Steam the game is currently only “balanced”.

Many players are disappointed
The players’ criticism is clear: The game falls short of its potential in many areas and also has to struggle with many technical errors. The list of reported stumbling blocks is long and ranges from operating deficiencies to defective transfers to mixed economy.
So it should come as no surprise that the first update has already appeared. The software patch is not yet dedicated to the big construction sites. Rather, it fixes a few bugs and provides many detail improvements.

That brings the first patch
The update is mainly dedicated to the transfer market. For example, the Bonus demands reduced for youth players. In addition, the negotiations are now moderately more difficult to challenge the manager in you more.
The Exit clauses have been reduced, and your character should now play a more important role in negotiations. Unfortunately, you are not allowed to lend a hand yourself when working out the clauses, this function should only come with the next update.

Otherwise, the patch simply brings something in many places more comfort and overview. Colored highlighting is now used in the tables for ascenders and descenders. In addition, you can now see a form display in the player profiles. When searching for a player, you can now filter by minimum and maximum level.
The games themselves should also run better. The Number of yellow and red cards has been optimized, In addition, the referee now plays a more important role on the pitch and the AI players are more cautious.
