What does the future hold for Resident Evil? In the annual showcase, developer Capcom showed the newly announced remake of Resident Evil 4, the new story DLC for Resi 8: Village and the soon to be released Resident Evil Re:Verse, which wants to gain a foothold as an asymmetric multiplayer game off the beaten track .
Here we show you the new trailer from the show. And we’ll start with Resident Evil 4 Remake, which wowed our author Martin Seng from the very first try:
Resident Evil 4
The remake has to be perfect and so far it’s been playing that way
Resident Evil 4 Remake
Capcom saved the trailer from the new remake for the very end of the show, but we’re going to jump straight into it. The first gameplay shows chic graphics and is reminiscent of the strong remakes of parts 2 and 3.
The trailer suggests that something good could be in production. However, you still have to be patient, as Capcom is not planning the release until 2023 or 2024:

Resident Evil 8: Shadows of Rose
Resident Evil 8 gets story replenishment in the form of a DLC with Shadows of Rose. You slip into the superhuman skin of Rosemary Winters, Ethan’s daughter.
The gameplay is different than what players are used to from the main game, if only because of the shoulder perspective. Surreal elements make the horror even more wacky.

Resident Evil Re:Verse
The new multiplayer offshoot of Resident Evil is about to be released. In Resident Evil Re:Verse, one player competes against four others, classic asymmetric multiplayer. The game will also receive live post-release service, which is no surprise for a title of this nature.
Resident Evil Re:Verse will be released on October 28th. The trailer shows you how the gameplay works. In short, a single player must make life as difficult (and scary) as possible for a team of four using traps and monster spawns in order to win a game. The group of four, on the other hand, maneuvers through the horror, masters tasks together and tries to outsmart the opponent.
If you own the eighth part of the series, you can get Re:Verse at no additional cost. The game is also available for purchase separately.
