Thanks to open betas, AI software such as Midjourney, Stable Diffusion and DALL-E for image generation have long enjoyed great popularity. Anyone who has tried it out for themselves knows immediately why: It is impressive what images can be created in a matter of seconds by entering a small amount of text. But are the results good enough to believe it’s a real photo?
You can now answer this question yourself because we have created a suitable quiz for you. Admittedly, there is no general answer because it depends very much on the concrete individual results. Nevertheless, we are curious to see how well you manage to correctly assign the ten pictures from our little guessing game.

How did we do it?
In the quiz below you will see ten different pictures. It is always either a real photograph or an image that was created by entering text in the midjourney AI. Your task is to match each picture correctly.
To make things consistent, we put all the images in the same format. Apart from that, however, they have remained completely untouched.
If you look closely, you should have a good chance of correctly assigning all the pictures. From our point of view, the cases in which you might be wrong are all the more exciting. Feel free to write in the comments how well you got along with the quiz and in which cases you were unsure. Have fun guessing!
If it is not so much about a representation that is as real as possible, but rather about an artistic representation, image AIs can often shine particularly well.
