Amazon Prime Day 2022 will take place in July, which means we can expect big price cuts in just about every department. Of course, we’re only interested in all games, such as games and consoles, and accessories like monitors, keyboards, and headsets.
We’ve compiled a list of products that decreased last year, as well as discounts in each category this year. When Prime Day 2022 rolls around, we’ll be updating this page with all the best gaming deals we can find.
Prime Day PlayStation Deals
With PlayStation 5 consoles still hard to come by, it’s hard to see discounts on these consoles anytime soon. However, Amazon did have some inventory last year, even if they did fly out in seconds as usual. Hopefully we’ll see an inventory update for the console at Amazon.
Regardless of console inventory issues, there were some great deals on PS4 and PS5 games last year. Returnal is $49, and Final Fantasy VII Remake is just $30. We can expect more discounts on PS5 games like Returnal, as well as discounts on PS4 multi-platform games.

Prime Day Xbox Deals
Since both Xbox consoles are as new as the PlayStation 5, we doubt we’ll see any major discounts on either. The Series S has been available almost since its release, but now the Series X appears to be more widely available as well.
Amazon already offers a bundle or two for Series X, including games like Far Cry 6, so it’ll be interesting to see if there’s a deal. Otherwise, we can expect to see some substantial reductions in third-party games.

Prime Day Nintendo Switch Deals
While there are only a handful of Switch console bundles during its lifetime, all three console variants are discounted when sold individually. However, Nintendo is also facing inventory difficulties.
For those who already own a Switch console, there’s even better news that Amazon has cut back on games in the past, including rare discounts on first-party titles.

Prime Day 4K TV Deals
Discount days like Prime Day are ideal for buying big-ticket items like new TVs. If you’re a PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X console owner, it makes more sense to upgrade to 4K because you’ll see all the detail these beasts can offer.

Prime Day Monitor Deals
If you want a smaller screen, perhaps for your desk and a screen that doubles as your work, then a monitor might be the way to go. Amazon has been known to discount monitors year-round, so we’re expecting some better deals on Prime Day so you can finally upgrade your old monitor that’s still sitting on your desk.

With components such as GPUs still in short supply, the best way to play games other than consoles right now is a gaming laptop. With the advantage of portability, some still allow you to upgrade memory and storage, so you don’t miss out too much by ditching the desktop.

Prime Day SD Card Offer
No matter which Nintendo Switch console you buy, you almost always have to buy a micro SD card to carry a lot of games with you. The same is true if you’re the lucky owner of the Steam platform, which is pretty much a necessity if you own an Android smartphone and want to back up your precious photos and videos.

Prime Day VR headset deals
VR headsets don’t usually drop off, but big shopping days like Prime Day and Black Friday are when retailers add discounts to their product lines. We expect to see some discounts again this year.
