It will soon be that time again: Anyone who owns a Prime Gaming subscription can look forward to new games and additional content from March 1, 2022 at no extra charge. This time there isn’t a blockbuster either, but at least Surviving Mars is a successful development game.
There is also free new content for Lost Ark. There was already a free bundle with various items for the release in February, if you have not yet secured it as a Prime customer, you can still take advantage of this opportunity until March 8th to use.

As the name suggests, the building game Surviving Mars revolves around the challenging colonization of the red planet. First of all, it works like a classic development strategy: We manage a constantly growing cycle of resources, money and needs.
There are additional challenges, though, which shouldn’t come as a surprise when establishing a colony on a hostile planet. For example, we have to provide our residents with additional oxygen and can only build residential buildings under protective glass domes. As a result, we have to use the available space very efficiently within the domes.
In addition, our colonists are not workers without qualities, but each have special specializations and positive as well as negative character traits. If we don’t address the special needs that arise as a result, it can happen that our residents literally take off again – with the next rocket.
After all, a research tree makes everyday life on Mars easier for us, for example with larger domes or completely new buildings. In our test, the trip to Mars got off to a satisfactory start, even if some inconsistencies spoiled the fun of the game. If you want to know more, you can of course watch our video:
