Lost Ark was released in Europe about a month ago and is still very popular. Which may sometimes be due to the fact that there is no lack of content in online role-playing games. On the contrary: only recently, with the March update, there were even replenishments on the endgame front:

But that doesn’t mean that Lost Ark is completely flawless. While the scope is hardly criticized, there is definitely some catching up to do on the technical side. Key word: Queues that not only left Peter angry. in one extensive statement in the game forum Amazon commented on the biggest problem areas of the MMO.
Fewer queues in Central Europe
If you wanted to play Lost Ark on the EU central servers at the beginning, you had to have a lot of patience: especially at peak times, it was quite normal to sometimes spend several hours in the queue. In the meantime, there are only rarely queues, which according to Amazon is partly due to technical adjustments:

The slump is not only due to players jumping off, but also to the loss of bots. Just recently, Amazon shut down over a million bot accounts:

Language filter for chat and matchmaking
In addition to the queue reduction, the Amazon team also worked on one Improvement for matchmaking, which also regularly collapsed under the load of the release. This is no longer the case and even at peak times, players can use the match search almost without any problems.
Speaking of matchmaking, communication is an important factor in some activities in Lost Ark. The problem? There are no region restrictions on the European servers, which is why there is often a veritable jumble of languages in the chat.
That’s why there is one from now on optional language filter for local chat from Lost Ark. To activate this, you only have to consider the following:

In order to create more problems from the world of Lost Ark, Amazon wants to keep the weekly updates until further notice. Although the team will resort to hotfixes for very critical problems, they should definitely not get out of hand.

However, Amazon does not comment on further content updates in the statement. In this regard, it will probably only get hot again in April, when the next major update is potentially due. It remains to be seen whether a new class will be included.
