Game News Amazon treats Lord of the Rings fans to three free video games: Perfect to celebrate the second season of The Rings of Power
In August 2024, “Lord of the Rings” fever will once again strike all over the world. Season 2 of the series “The Rings of Power” produced by Amazon Studios will start on August 29th on Prime Video and will not come on its own. To celebrate this pop culture event, Amazon is offering its Prime subscribers three Lord of the Rings video games.
Three video games that dominate everyone
The good news reached us shortly before the broadcast of the first episodes of the second season of Rings of Power. Three video games based on the famous Lord of the Rings saga are offered to Prime subscribers for free on PC (or via Luna).
This video game diptych published by Warner Games already stands out from the competition at its release thanks to its Nemesis system, which notably allows real antagonists to be generated to the hero and tells the big story through smaller experiences of the players. The third and final title is none other than LEGO Middle Earth, an adventure video game for the whole family. The latter traces the most important events of the novel trilogy of the same name, consisting of “The Fellowship of the Ring”, “The Two Towers” and finally “The Return of the King”.
Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor and LEGO The Lord of the Rings are available for free on the GOG store. To play Middle-earth: Shadow of War, you’ll need to head to the Amazon Luna cloud gaming platform.
