AMD has once again expanded the portfolio of Radeon graphics cards of the current generation to include the Radeon RX 7600 XT. The inexpensive card is primarily intended to support 1080p gaming.
While NVIDIA is going all out with the new RTX Super cards, competitor AMD has announced a comparatively small update. The Radeon RX 7600 XT further rounds off the portfolio of the current generation of graphics cards.
According to AMD, the RX 7600 XT is primarily an upgrade card for 1080p gaming on existing systems and will cost $329. It is equipped with 32 compute units and works at a clock speed of 2.47 GHz (2.76 GHz boost). The RAM is 16GB with a 128-bit interface and 32 MB Infinity Cache. The power consumption is 190W TDP.
The card supports current generation technologies such as AMD FSR 3, HYPR-RX and AMD Fluid Motion Frames (the counterparts to NVIDIA’s DLSS 3, Reflex and Frame Generation). AMD states that the card offers 1.9 times the performance of the GeForce RTX 2060.
The AMD Radeon RX 7600 XT is scheduled to go on sale from January 24th in various versions from AMD board partners.
