AMD: Ryzen 5000 news processors presented

AMD goes to the next round and presents the Ryzen 5000 processors of the Zen 3 architecture, which should give the CPU line-up even more power.

October is apparently going to be an AMD month. While many are still waiting for the presentation of the new Radeon graphics

cards at the end of the month, the manufacturer has now presented the new AMD Ryzen CPUs. The Ryzen 5000 series is based on the new Zen 3 architecture and offers models up to a 16 core with 32 threads and 72 MB cache. The new architecture is intended to increase the performance of the processors by up to 26 percent compared to the previous generation.

The Ryzen 5000 series starts with the following models:

As can be seen from the graphic, the new CPUs are to be released from November 5th. Motherboards are already available, because the AMD 500 mainboards are ready for use with the new CPUs

with a BIOS update. There are currently over 100 different mainboard models on the market.

With the launch there will also be a new bundle. Buyers who buy one of the new CPUs between November 5th and December 31st will receive the digital version of Far Cry 6 Standard Edition for free as soon as the game is released. The deal also applies to the older Ryzen R9 3950X, R9 3900XT and R7 3800XT processors from now on, also until December 31st.
