The highly anticipated new Stardew Valley update has revealed a very annoying bug, but there’s a temporary trick to prevent it.
The ultimate farm life simulator, Stardew Valley, has received a facelift with updates 1.6 and 1.6.9. On the agenda: a new farm type, gameplay adjustments, quality of life improvements and even an improvement to the user interface and general balancing. Bugs related to in-game stages, text and cosmetic items have also been fixed by Eric Barone aka ConcernedApe, the developer of this phenomenon title that has sold more than 30 million copies.
Stardew Valley chickens mysteriously kidnapped
If you have installed the new Stardew Valley update released on November 4, 2024 on consoles (PS5, PS4, Xbox Series), new features that were in testing on PC. This is excellent news unless you care about your poultry. For what reason? Stardew Valley patch 1.6.9 introduced a bug that causes Vanish the chickens when you start a new game on the La Ferme des Champs de Prés map. If a fix is already available on PC, this is not the case on consoles and mobile phones.

But he also tried a little joke by revealing that this disappearance was more likely due to a wild coyote.
