Nacon presents Dragonkin The Banished, a hack’n slash in the style of Diablo 4, but with a big extra: giant dragons! A nice little surprise that we didn’t expect.
In addition to big announcements like Terminator Survivors or Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown, the Nacon Connect at the end of February 2024 had a very nice surprise in store. A brand new license based on Hack’n Slash. Your name: Dragonkin the Exiled
Dragonkin the Exiled, a Diablo-like Prometteur?
Developed in-house by Nacon Eko Software Studio, Dragonkin The Banished is a hack ‘n slash designed to pay tribute to the biggest names in the genre. This desire therefore makes the game relatively affordable for veterans and could also appeal to the curious. The game focuses on a rather dark fantasy atmosphere with a lot of monstrosities to destroy in packs of 100 such as mutants, undead, dragons or even a few not really friendly people. Dragonkin can be played completely alone or in cooperation with up to 4 players and invites you to hunt dragons with a capital D.
Super powerful and legendary creatures that rule the world and threaten (among other things) the survival of humanity. The latter is particularly tricky and will make your life difficult. We therefore assume that good equipment will not be too much and that you will have to loot a lot for it. A habit for the genre.
The game will undoubtedly tell us more in the coming months. In the meantime, we’ll have to make do with today’s little presentation. Dragonkin The Banished will release on PS5, Xbox Series and PC via Steam in February 2025.
