What’s new in Android 12
AVIF file format
Android 12 supports the AVIF image file format. Your photos will be compressed more. This should drastically reduce the memory consumption compared to formats such as JPEG, but the image quality should not suffer as a result.

Opening up to third-party app stores
Google is supposed to Android 12 make the operating system more open to third-party stores. The Google Play Store is preinstalled on most smartphones, but you can also install app stores such as the Amazon Store or the Galaxy Store. The US manufacturer could in future classify such other stores as “safe” and make installation easier. Google has not yet revealed how this should look in detail.
More emojies

Huawei and Honor
