Samsung tablets will receive an update to Android 12L, the manufacturer has now confirmed. New features of Android 13 were also revealed this week.

This week, the South Korean company Samsung announced that it would roll out Android 12L for various tablets. Furthermore, new features were discovered in the first Android 13 developer preview.

Samsung
Samsung has announced that it will roll out Android 12L to the Galaxy S8 series tablets. Other models will also receive the update. The manufacturer has not yet revealed exactly what these are.
Android 12
Google has announced that it will also release “Material You” to other manufacturers. Cell phones from OnePlus, Oppo, Vivo, as well as realme, Xiaomi and Samsung should get the theme.
Android 13
With Android 13 you should be able to stream apps from the Pixel phone to the PC. You should be able to work with the application in a browser tab. Whether this is only possible with Chrome OS or other operating systems remains uncertain. It’s also unclear whether the feature will be exclusive to Pixel phones.
You can also run Windows 11 through Android 13 on a Pixel 6. Android 13 should be able to start virtual machines on the cell phone through the mainline module. This is made possible by the virtualization framework pKVM (Protected Kernel Virtualization Mechanism).
Furthermore, Android 13 should offer a feature for automatically deleting the clipboard. The new operating system should also deactivate all haptics in silent mode.
Android 13 is scheduled for release in fall 2022. In April you should be able to download a first beta.
