If nothing else, you can count on Free Lives to deliver an odd and somewhat disturbing game. You can probably also count on Devolver Digital to get involved. We got both of these in Devolver’s countdown campaign.
That is, a new game from Free Lives by Devolver.we are talking about angry feet, of course, is hard to miss during the show. Anger Foot is a fast-paced first-person shooter where you go around kicking doors and gangsters.
As with Gorn, Genital Jousting, and Broforce before it, setup is simple. You walk around Shit City (yes, that’s what it’s really called), kicking down doors, kicking dynamite barrels at enemies, and walking around bozos cleaning rooms.
Anger Foot’s artistic style is similar to Gorn’s, with a colorful, succulent look. The enemies are anthropomorphic animals that are intentionally poorly animated, which adds to the staggering charm. Of course, once you actually get into the room, you shoot those fools with bullets from the barrels of various weapons.
The game is designed to encourage a different approach with each encounter, so look forward to going back and trying to spend your time better or complete quests in more style. Anger Foot is only released on the PC version and will be available sometime in 2023.
Until then, however, there is a Steam demo available for you to download and play right away, which you should probably do if you like Free Lives’ work.
