Animal Crossing: New Horizons, which will be released on March 20, 2020, is surely one of the most important switch titles of the spring and Nintendo apparently doesn't want to leave anything unturned, not only to get the players to buy, but also to get them ready to go hold. In a direct presentation this Thursday, the Japanese announced a number of free game content after the game was released.
So there should be new content in the form of DLC or seasonal events at regular intervals after the publication. Already for the release on March 20th there will be a first corresponding update, which will bring you the preparations for the "Bunny Day" in the game, which then increases in April. This should then be an Easter in-game event. Further such events and DLCs will be available in the future.
It was also announced that players of the mobile branch Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp can particularly benefit. Anyone who plays this title on Android or iOS in addition to New Horizons will receive "special items in every game" free of charge as a reward. Further details on this will be announced later on Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp's official Twitter account.
New Horizons is the first series part of the life simulation for the Switch; to celebrate this there is also a special edition of the Switch itself.
