Game news Animal Crossing New Horizons: The Game’s Most Popular Character Finally Got His Amiibo Card
Nintendo has struck hard with new content for the latest episode of its simulation game. This month of November, between a major update, a consistent DLC and the arrival of the Series 5 of Amiibo cards, the Japanese company sometimes piques the interest of fans of the half-masted license.
The highly anticipated content promised on Animal Crossing: New Horizons during Nintendo Direct in October includes the new amiibo cards. Collectibles, these cards also offer the opportunity to offer a villager to move to our island, but they also make it possible to invite a character into the heart of the Happy Home Paradise DLC to build a cozy nest in which to spend his Vacation.
When New Horizons released in March 2020, eight new characters debuted under the license: Jennifer (mare), Monica (wolf), Laura (opposite), Capri (goat), punk (elephant), Bouloche (sheep), Candy (bear) and Raymond, a stylized “work cat” with strange eyes that was the object of all greed.
Still very popular today, Raymond gets its own amiibo card thanks to the new series that comes with the update and DLC at the same time. The other characters who got licensed through New Horizons are not left out as they benefit from their dedicated card as well. This means that the previously unhappy fans can guarantee the arrival of their favorite character on their island. The procedure remains the same: Have a free plot of land on our island, go to the residents’ office to invite a character there with the device (DAC), place the amiibo card on the detector on the controller and visit our guest on the campsite. Then just speak to him, answer his questions and repeat the operation for 3 days in a row. Regardless, fans have been hoping to see the return of licensed characters like Link Loup, who first appeared in Animal Crossing New Leaf’s “Welcome amiibo” update, but unless Nintendo has a surprise in store for us on that The Japanese company’s program.
Apart from non-playable characters (NPCs) who are equipped with an amiibo card (Marie, Tom Nook, Celeste …), everyone can become residents of our island. On the other hand, all characters can have a residence dedicated to idleness on another island, which the owners of the Happy Home Paradise DLC have to furnish according to a theme of their choice.
The new amiibo card series therefore welcomes the 16 characters that have never been seen in Europe. A total of 48 cards make up this series 5, compared to a hundred for the previous series. It goes without saying that this increases our chances of meeting the coveted villagers upon opening the decks, which each contain three cards: an NPC card and two villagers. Underneath, Shino caused a sensation especially at the presentation of Nintendo Direct, certainly thanks to the small demonic side of this doe with two goblin horns, which did not leave indifferent the writing of JV. It shaped the mood and seems to have the favor of many players at the moment. While it is always possible to try our luck by visiting islands to recruit our characters as soon as a location becomes available on our island, speculation about Shiro’s amiibo card is certain to continue. ..
