In the last hours the team of Eternal Game Studios has carried out a broadcast in which it has left us with a good load of news related to Aeterna Noctis, so all those who loved this 2D metroidvania will be happy to know that the universe of this title will be expanded in a big way over the next few months.
For starting to early 2023 will be published Pit of the Damned, a DLC that will be available from day one on all platforms. The main novelty is that it will open up a completely new area full of challenges, enemies and a new boss to defeat, with an ending that will leave all players with more questions than answers.
It seems that some of these doubts will be cleared up later with Eternal Light, a sequel to this game that has also been presented in the same broadcast. However, in this case no further details have been provided about how it will be or what will be the platforms that will host its launch. The only thing that has been said about it is that will go on sale in 2024nothing more.
To make the wait a bit shorter, end of 2023 Summum Aeterna, the prequel to Eternal Night, leave your early access. Originally published last summer and only on Steam, the game is expected to continue to receive more updates and news next year so that it will be even more complete when its final version heads to PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch and PC.
