Fatal Fury City of the Wolves stopped by Summer Game Fest 2024 to reveal two new heroes to its roster, true Furies who aren’t here to wear pearls.
Next year, SNK’s legendary fighting game license returns Fatal Fury: City of Wolves. A very modern game that will take its place at the big table alongside Tekken 8. Street Fighter, King of Fighters or Mortal Kombat 1. A game that already promises to ruin a few arcade pads, but for a good cause.
The next Fatal Fury goes all out with two new crazy heroes!
With Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves, SNK wants to revive its recipe. The studio has already revealed its game mechanics, the subtleties of which will surely please hardcore fans. In particular, the REV bar, a sort of stamina indicator that increases with each hit (and decreases with successful actions), which can lead to a state of fragility.
Conversely, in this new Fatal Fury, this resource that is difficult to control is also used to use certain devastating special abilities on offense and even defense. Added to this is a system for controlling jet attacks, the ability to “interrupt” certain animations or recovery times during and between combos, not to mention the good management of counters and timing that is rewarded here. Everything you need to enjoy a great game.
We’re stocking up on pictures at the same time!
And for a beautiful game you need beautiful characters. Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves has already introduced us to part of its roster and has just added new ones. During the Summer Game Fest tonight, the title announces two new faces: Vox Reaper, a particularly lively assassin who will quickly unleash all his power, and B. Jenet, an impressive woman in more ways than one who will obviously not give in and can also count on a series of dynamic but also very powerful moves. Once again, two spaces, two atmospheres. Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves wants to be particularly generous and diverse in its roster. Verdict Early 2025, when the game will be released on consoles and PC!
