After the robots of Lady Maria (Bloodborne The Old Hunters) and Selene (Returnal), the free game Astro’s Playroom offers new content on PS5.
Sony Interactive Entertainment will soon make its comeback with the launch of Concord, the hero shooter in Overwatch mode developed by up-and-coming studio Firewalk. At the moment, things really don’t seem to be working out that way with PS5 and PC gamers, but maybe the trend will reverse? If the multiplayer FPS has anything to prove itself, that’s less the case with the next Astro Bot game, which will be released exclusively for PlayStation 5 on September 6, 2024.
The new August 2024 free update for Astro’s Playroom
If you like the platform, Astro Bot is well on its way to still being a must-have. It must be said that the little robot is not his first attempt and has already won over millions of players with the VR game Rescue Mission and Astros Playroom. The title was installed for free on all PS5 devices worldwide and interest in it revived before the release of the next installment. To highlight this mascot, the developers of Team Asobi decided to update their baby four times with completely free additional content.
In June, the PS5 Astro game was updated for the first time to welcome the robot Lady Maria from Bloodborne The Old Hunters. Then, in July, Returnal’s heroine Selene took over. As previously announced, a third robot joins the family and this time it’s a Gran Turismo pilot. Starting now, those who have completed Astro’s Playroom can get a new robot. But there is a way forward. First, go to the “Air Conditioning” environment and to the “Sea Map” level.
To get your hands on this third cool astro content, you have to walk around on starfish. It’s simple, very simple in fact, but there is obviously a twist. You are obliged to follow a very specific arrangement, otherwise the manipulation will not work. Fortunately, Internet user Computer_Cat shared the following steps:
- At the beginning of the level, walk on the star under the bridge
- Go left where there is a pontoon with a sundeck and then onto the star in the water
- Go to a palm tree further right to find the third star
- Finally reach the fourth star, which is still underwater, near the big blue pipe
Astro’s Playroom’s ultimate robot will be available in September.
