Bethesda revealed a number of new details about Fallout 76's upcoming Wastelanders update.
As part of Bethesda Game Days, the developers hosted a panel discussion about the upcoming Fallout 76 The Wastelander Update will be released on April 7. Wasteman brings NPCs to the game for the first time and offers new stories and new locations.
First, regardless of character level, all players can use the content of "Wasteland Warrior". Its design also makes it easy for solo players to join as in other Fallout games. The story comes a year after the main story of Fallout 76 began.
The two main factions are settlers and raiders. Each faction lives in a new area, and these sights will be where you go to pick up tasks and trade-usually radiation. You will also find other NPCs roaming the game world, you can recruit some of them. The recruited NPC will return to your CAMP to defend it and send it to you.
To maintain the intended story experience, Fallout 76 will automatically place you and anyone in your party in one instance as you enter these locations.
When talking to the NPC, only members of the group will appear, and the state of each place itself is controlled by Bethesda, and will only change when certain choices are made or as part of a story event.
You will be able to access and access representatives from both factions, and you can basically play the role of both parties. Your choice to help either of these will be reflected in the new reputation system and will obviously change the world itself for larger decisions.
Watch the game above to learn about the new dialogue system and more. Wasteman will arrive on April 7 with the Steam version of the game.
