Respawn Entertainment is now telling the story of Apex Legends before the start of Season 4 and has released a new episode of the corresponding video series "Stories from the Outlands". This sheds some light on the prehistory of a new legend that will soon enter the arena from the edge of the world.
This is actually Jimmie "Forge" McCormick, former Hyper Fighting Federation champion, who is now positioning himself to become an Apex legend. But if you look at t he clip, you will be surprised: Because in all likelihood Forge should not be the next champion in Apex Legends.
Why? A mysterious killer is targeting him and his sponsor Hammond Robotics and is actually taking Forge around the corner. This is Revenant, which has been rumored in fan circles for a long time that he could become the next character in Season 4.
Accordingly, parts of the community were surprised when Forge was announced as a new legend for the next season. On the official website, however, he is grayed out after his death – and may now open the door to confirm the rumors about Revenant.
We will know more by February 4th at the latest, because then the fourth season called "Assimilation" in Apex Legends will start. On the occasion of Apex Legends' first birthday, there will also be a lot of new seasonal content. In addition, the "Edge of the World" map is to be changed, the "Sentinel" bolt action sniper rifle is introduced, there are loyalty rewards and a new Battle Pass.
